    TheLightning Impulse Test System is a device used to simulate lightning strikes, which can generate high voltage and high current for electrical performance testing and safety evaluation of electrical equipment.

    The Lightning Impulse Test System uses electromagnetic induction principle to generate high voltage and high current through high-voltage power supply and discharge device, simulating lightning impulse. The discharge device usually includes an energy storage capacitor and a discharge wire. After the capacitor is charged, the discharge wire releases lightning energy into the tested equipment, generating instantaneous high voltage and high current.

    Structural Composition:

    The Lightning Impulse Test System usually consists of a generator body, a wave cutting device, a voltage divider, a control panel (divided into microcomputer and ordinary types), a digital waveform recording system, and other components. These components work together to ensure that the generator can stably and accurately output the required impulse voltage waveform. Among them, the generator body is the core component that generates impulse voltage; The waveform truncation device is used to adjust the truncation time of the waveform; Voltage divider is used to measure the magnitude of output voltage; The console is responsible for controlling the entire testing process, including setting parameters such as charging voltage and charging time; The digital waveform recording system is used to record and analyze waveform data of impulse voltage.
